Jana Jokerst has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to 2023. Jana'smost recent role is as a Project Manager for the Lab to Life Program at CSU STRATA, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Accdon as a Scientific Editor and Consultant, starting in November 2016. Before joining Accdon, Jana was a Research Scientist at the Analytical Toxicology Laboratory at Colorado State University from January 2014 to August 2016, and a Postdoctoral Scientist from December 2012 to December 2013. Jana also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Colorado State University from August 2007 to March 2012, where they developed a novel paper-based biosensor for the determination of foodborne pathogenic bacteria. Jana's earliest work experience was as a Research Assistant at Vegrandis, LLC from May 2005 to May 2007.
Jana Jokerst obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Arkansas between 2003 and 2007. Subsequently, they pursued a PhD in Analytical Chemistry at Colorado State University, completing their degree from 2007 to 2012.
