Larry Gelo

Larry Gelo has extensive experience in the engineering and manufacturing sectors, currently serving as the Director of Facilities Capital at CSX since March 2015, focusing on strategic enhancements to railroad infrastructure. Previously, Larry held the role of Director of Motor Design & Development at Ward Leonard from October 2011 to March 2015, specializing in custom rotary equipment for military and oilfield applications. Earlier career positions include Product Manager at Macton Corp from January 2005 to October 2011 and Operations Manager at Thermatool from January 1998 to January 2005, where responsibilities included overseeing the production of manufacturing equipment and ensuring customer satisfaction. Larry holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Haven.
