Gregory Pace is the Chief Operations Officer of CT3, leading an education service provider that transforms the quality and culture of education for youth, especially those in traditionally disenfranchised communities. Preceding his current role, Pace served as national director of Military and Veterans Affairs for DeVry University, assisting military service members, their spouses, and veterans in their transition to civilian life by helping them reach their higher education and career goals. He was also responsible for enrollment growth, product development and strategic outreach activities within the military channel. Pace also held several key leadership roles at various DeVry locations, including center dean, campus dean and campus president during his ten-year tenure.
Prior to his first civilian employment, Pace served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 12 years, when he became medically separated from service. Pace began his military service career as a Midshipman attending the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Marines. Serving in various billets and duty stations around the globe, Pace was awarded three military occupational specialties: Air Support Control Officer, Air Defense Control Officer and Adjutant. He achieved the rank of Captain and was last assigned as a Company Executive Officer at Marine Corps Headquarters.
Upon discharge, Pace decided to pursue an MBA and joined Huffy Corporation, where he spent 11 years as an executive, his last role being vice president of Operations for its Creative Retail Services company. He later worked at Washington Mutual Bank as a Financial Center manager until joining Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, becoming their area director for Georgia.
Pace received his Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the United States Naval Academy and earned an MBA in information systems management from Strome College of Business (Old Dominion University).
