Caroline Sakuno

Caroline Sakuno has extensive experience in entomology and agricultural research, currently serving as the Entomology Coordinator, Lead Researcher, and Researcher II at CTC - Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira since April 2017. Caroline specializes in insect resistance management, focusing on the evaluation of new sugarcane technologies through various bioassays and field tests. Previous positions include Visiting Scientist at LSU AgCenter, Technical Assistant in R&D at Syngenta, and research roles at Laboratório de Fitopatologia e Melhoramento Genético - LAGEM and FAPESP. Caroline holds a Master's degree in Entomology from Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz, an MBA in Project Management from USP/Esalq, and an Agronomic Engineering degree from UFSCar. Education also includes executive training at Harvard Business School.
