Carl Fransen

Carl Fransen has been working in the IT industry since 1994. Carl started their career as a System Analyst at DOCU. MAX Enterprises in Vancouver. Carl then moved to Futurelink in 1998, where they were responsible for server deployment, disaster recovery, system administration/configuration, thin client selection, and third level server support. In 1999, they became a Senior System Administrator at Getty Images, Gettyworks, EyeWire, Adobe, and Image Club Graphics, where they were personally responsible for the complete server architecture and system administration of the internal network. Carl also backpacked to over 40 countries and 250 cities throughout South East Asia, North America, Western Europe, Africa, and Eastern Europe from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, they founded and became President of CTECH Consulting Group Inc., a firm focused on helping clients make their business more competitive, staff more efficient, and maximize their IT spend.

Carl Fransen attended Selkirk College from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a degree in Business Information Systems with a focus in Information Technology and Business Management. Carl also holds a Microsoft Certified System Engineer certification from Microsoft.
