Samuel Sarpong

Samuel Sarpong is an accomplished Civil Affairs Officer with extensive experience in governance and capacity building, currently serving with the UN Mission in South Sudan since October 2013. Over the years, Sarpong has held various roles, including Regional Governance Advisor at CTG Global FZC, where technical support was provided to provincial and district offices, and Programme Specialist at UNDP, focusing on program implementation in the Southern Region. Previous positions also include Programme Manager at AusAid West Africa, Local Governance Advisor at MercyCorps, and Institutional Development Specialist within the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development. Sarpong's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Regional Science from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelor’s degree in Development Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
