David Kohlmeier has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. David started their career as an Engineer at the Summit County Department of Environmental Services in August 1994 and worked there until December 1995. From December 1995, they joined CTI Engineers, Inc. and held the position of Project Manager. David later advanced to the role of Vice President/Sr. Project Manager in January 2018.
David Kohlmeier attended The University of Akron from 1984 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering. David then pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Treatment, Hydraulics, and Water Resources from 1991 to 1994. Additionally, in 1995, they obtained a Professional Engineer certification from the State of Ohio. Later, in 2010, they received a Class III Water Supply Operator certification from the Ohio EPA.
