Melissa Gallant

Creative Director at CTIA

Melissa Gallant is the current Creative Director at CTIA. Melissa has over fifteen years of experience in the field of advertising and marketing, with a focus on creative direction and copywriting.

Gallant began their career as a freelance designer for Randstad Creative in 2003. Melissa quickly transitioned into a dual role as copywriter and designer, and began to learn about web development and content management systems. In 2004, they joined MSHC Partners as Vice President of Creative Services.

At MSHC Partners, Gallant oversaw the creative process for a variety of clients, including print, collateral, interactive, outdoor, social media, and broadcast advertising. Melissa also helped launch the company's first American-style advocacy campaign in Mexico. In 2010, they left MSHC Partners to join Gunster Strategies Worldwide as Creative Director.

At Gunster Strategies Worldwide, Gallant expanded the team of producers and photographers nationwide and at multiple budget levels. Melissa also oversaw the creative process for a variety of clients, including print, collateral, interactive, outdoor, social media, and broadcast advertising. In 2013, the team won an AAPC Campaign Excellence Award for Public Affairs/Advocacy for their work on the New Yorkers for Beverage Choices campaign. In 2015, they won an AAPC Best Facebook Page award for their work on the No San Francisco Beverage Tax campaign.

In 2017, Gallant left Gunster Strategies Worldwide to join CTIA as Creative Director.

Melissa Gallant has a B.F.A. from the University of Oklahoma in Visual Communications and a certification from Coursera in Coaching Skills for Managers Specialization. Melissa also has certifications from SoloLearn in JavaScript Basics, PHP Course, CSS Fundamentals, and HTML Fundamentals.

They are on a team with Avonne Bell - Director, Connected Life, Robert Friedman - Art Director, and Kelly Cole - SVP, Government Affairs. Melissa Gallant reports to Meredith Attwell Baker, President & CEO.
