Karima Giresse is an experienced professional in the field of plant genetics and seed technology, currently serving as Directrice du Centre CTIFL de Lanxade since April 2017. Previously, Karima held the position of Committee Member for the International Seed Testing Association from June 2013 to April 2017, working on purity and advanced technologies while organizing workshops and leading groups focused on X-ray and new technologies. Prior to this, Karima managed a multidisciplinary team as Directrice de laboratoire at GEVES from May 2011 to April 2017, overseeing R&D projects and international standardization committees. Karima began a research career at the Institut National de Recherche Agronomique (INRA) as Ingénieur de Recherche from October 2009 to May 2011, where project management and experimentation were key responsibilities. Karima holds a Doctorate in plant genetics and molecular biology from Université Bordeaux 1 and additional advanced degrees in plant genetics and development.
