Valeria Viscardi

Valeria Viscardi currently serves as Assay V&V Lead at QuidelOrtho, having joined the company in December 2022. With a strong background in research, Valeria has been a Research Scientist at CTK Biotech, Inc. since April 2015, specializing in the development of innovative immunodiagnostic tools. Prior roles include Product Manager for IVD at Quidel and engagement with the Project Management Office at AWIS San Diego. Experience in academia includes a post-doctoral position at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, where Valeria focused on microtubule organizing centers using C. elegans, and graduate studies culminating in a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Bioscience from the University of Milan-Bicocca. Valeria holds a Master's degree with Honors in Molecular Biology from the University of Milan, where significant research involved GGH1 mutations linked to Dopa Responsive Dystonia.
