Shawn Beals

Shawn Beals is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in journalism and business management. Currently serving as a Category Manager at Henkel since January 2020, Shawn previously held the role of Purchasing Intern. Additionally, Shawn has been a Freelance Journalist for CTNewsJunkie.com since December 2018, and spent over a decade as a Reporter at The Hartford Courant, specializing in multimedia journalism across various topics, including town news, state news, courts, crime, politics, transportation, and development. Earlier experience includes reporting on courts and crime at the Journal Inquirer. Shawn holds a Master of Business Administration in Business Analytics from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and History from the University of Connecticut.
