David Kolberg

David Kolberg is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive and aerospace industries. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer and Engineering Manager at CTS Automotive Products since May 2006, Kolberg specializes in the research and development of RF-based sensors for measuring dielectric materials, specifically in Diesel Particulate Filters and Selective Catalytic Reduction systems, utilizing machine learning to enhance sensor functionality. Prior roles include Senior Staff Electrical Engineer at Actuant Corporation and Systems Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, where Kolberg played a pivotal role in the design and development of the F-22 brake-by-wire control system and new product lines. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from both Michigan State University and Michigan Technological University, along with a Certificate in Engineering Leadership from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business.
