David D. Baucum

David Baucum is a software engineer and entrepreneur who is currently Co-Founder at CTSI. David has over 18 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on web-based applications and software development. David has also worked in customer service and support, management, and technical support.

Baucum began their career in 2002 as a Technical Support Representative for Convergys. David was promoted to Manager in 2004 and then left the company in 2005 to pursue a career in software engineering. David joined TYBRIN Corporation in 2008 as a Software Engineer and worked there for six years before joining Bloom Intelligence in December 2018 as their Chief Technology Officer.

At Bloom Intelligence, Baucum oversaw the transition from a monolithic architecture to a microservice framework deployed on Kubernetes. David also organized IT assets and strengthened security practices. David managed local and remote teams across the globe utilizing agile principals. In September 2020, they left Bloom Intelligence to co-found CTSI.
