David Matas has a comprehensive work experience in the field of telecommunications and information technology. David served as the CIO at the Ministry of Enterprise and Knowledge at CTTI from 2015 onwards. Prior to that, they worked at CTTI from 2003 to 2015, where they held various roles such as IT Project Leader for the development of a One Stop Shop for Businesses in Catalonia, IT Project Director in the Health Sector, and IT Department Manager in a Health Institution. David also worked as an Account Manager at T-systems from 2001 to 2003.
David Matas completed their master's degree in TIC from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2000. Prior to that, between 1986 and 1992, they studied Empresarials at the Universitat de Barcelona.

CTTI - Centre de Telecomunicacions i Tecnologies de la Informació
El CTTI és l’empresa pública que integra tots els serveis informàtics i de telecomunicacions de la Generalitat de Catalunya, més enllà de proveir solucions transversals i adaptades als Departaments. Els seus objectius inclouen dissenyar, construir, coordinar i desplegar projectes tecnològics, fomentant i incorporant la innovació i la transformació digital. Actualment els Serveis TIC es desenvolupen amb un ecosistema de 4.500 persones (de les quals 270 són personal CTTI) i el pressupost és aproximadament de 600 milions d’euros.
