Cassandra Dubiel

Cassandra Dubiel is an accomplished writer and producer with extensive experience in journalism. Currently serving as a Writer at CTV News since July 2022, Cassandra focuses on show writing and updating coverage of breaking national and international stories. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Producer and Show Writer at Global News, where responsibilities encompassed scripting for various news segments and enhancing production through graphic design. Cassandra has also worked as an Editorial Assistant and Weekend Assignment Coordinator, honing skills in story development and newsroom management. In addition to journalism roles, Cassandra has been a speaker for Jack.org, advocating for youth mental health, and has contributed to various publications such as The Ryersonian and SB Nation. Cassandra holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University.
