Dexter Brown

Dexter Brown is an accomplished producer and writer with extensive experience in journalism. Currently serving as a Producer/Writer at CTV News since March 2020, Dexter has also held significant roles at CBC as a Senior Writer, Associate Producer, and Producer from June 2016 to March 2020. Prior freelance writing positions include contributions to Yahoo, CPA Canada, Metroland Digital, and Sportscaster Magazine, where Dexter developed content tailored for diverse audiences, conducted interviews, and consistently met tight deadlines. Dexter's early career included an internship at Post City Magazines and editorial roles with the Ryerson Review of Journalism, which laid a strong foundation in writing, editing, and research. Dexter holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Ryerson University.
