Zeev Zalevsky

Zeev Zalevsky has a long and varied work experience. Zeev is currently the Founder & CSO of Nanodrops Ltd and SuperSpectra Ltd, both of which they started in 2020. In 2019, they became the Co-Founder & CTO of CogniFiber Ltd, a start-up company creating a technology which significantly speeds up calculation processes. From 2004-2011, they were employed by Bar-Ilan University in various roles, including Dean of the Engineering Faculty, Professor of Electrical Engineering and Nanophotonics, Vice Dean of Engineering, Head of Ph.D Student Committee, Member of Various Committees, Associate Professor, and Senior Lecturer (Assistant Profersor). In 2017, they founded LensFree, a company developing an enhanced CT imaging system. In 2013, they founded Z-Square Ltd, where they are the Chief Scientific Officer, as well as ContinUse Biometrics, where they are the Founder & CTO. Additionally, from 2006-2011 they were the Director of the Nanophotonics Center at the Bar Ilan Institute for Nanotechnology and Advanced materials (BINA), and from 2004-2011 they were the Head of the Electro-Optics Track at Bar Ilan University. Zeev also held the role of Visiting Professor at the Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nürnberg from 2011-2013.

Zeev Zalevsky attended Tel Aviv University from 1991 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1993 and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Optoelectronics in 1996.
