Theresa Diffendal

Theresa Diffendal is an experienced data research analyst currently employed at CU Strategic Planning since April 2022. In addition, Diffendal serves as a disaster crew member with the Appalachian Conservation Corps, specializing in disaster recovery and environmental restoration. Previous positions include data reporter at USA TODAY, where analytical skills were applied to produce investigative articles, as well as communications assistant at the University of Maryland School of Public Health, promoting the institution through various media. Diffendal has a strong background in journalism, having served as editor-in-chief of the Bi-College News and gaining experience as a writing tutor and circulation assistant at Bryn Mawr College. An academic foundation includes a Master’s degree in Journalism from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism and a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from Bryn Mawr College.
