Shibashish Sahoo

Shibashish Sahoo is a seasoned professional specializing in social safeguards with an extensive career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Social Safeguard Specialist at PJRCS since January 2024, Shibashish Sahoo previously held the position of Senior Vice President at Cube Highways and Transportation Assets Advisors Pvt. Ltd from February 2016 to November 2023, where leadership was provided to the Social Initiative Team along with planning and monitoring of CSR/CDP projects in India. Prior roles include serving as a Social Safeguard Specialist at Manavadhikar Samajik Manch, where Shibashish Sahoo led the implementation of Resettlement Action Plans, and at PJRC Consultancy Limited, focusing on resettlement plans and conducting comprehensive field studies. Beginning a career in academia, Shibashish Sahoo was a Political Science Lecturer at CWM College Baghmara from 2000 to 2007.
