Bruno Scarpin

Bruno Scarpin is an experienced professional with a strong background in operations management, engineering, and research. Currently serving as Head de Operações at CUBi since July 2016, Bruno focuses on enhancing the competitiveness of medium to large enterprises by optimizing energy demand through innovative data acquisition systems. As a co-founder of UNA Smart from January 2015 to December 2016, Bruno contributed to developing a portable, sustainable coffee maker. Previous roles include Graduate Research Assistant at Golisano Institute for Sustainability, where Bruno worked on lithium-ion battery separation, and researcher at Embraer, specializing in aircraft part manufacturing. Bruno also gained experience as an engineering intern at Diebold, validating ATM software. Academically, Bruno holds a Master of Science in Manufacturing Automation from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Mechatronics Engineering degree from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
