Rob Tate

Rob Tate currently serves as the Head of Development UK at Cubico Sustainable Investments, overseeing onshore wind, solar PV, and battery storage development activities since January 2024. Previously, Rob held the position of Development Director - Energy at Peel NRE from March 2020 to January 2024, managing similar projects in the UK and Isle of Man. Rob's extensive experience includes a role as Renewables Development Director at ENGIE – UK & Ireland, where responsibilities encompassed the development of grid-scale and decentralized renewable energy projects. Prior to that, Rob was Managing Director at West Coast Energy, leading a multi-disciplinary team through the identification and development of onshore wind and solar projects. Rob's career commenced at Clay Colliery Company and Greenham Construction Materials, building a strong foundation in development surveying. Rob holds a BSc (Hons) in Mineral Estate Management from Sheffield Hallam University and has completed management education at Cranfield School of Management.
