Rudi Weekers

Rudi Weekers has had a long and successful career in the business world. Starting in 1985, they were a Director EMEA at Abbott Laboratories, where they were responsible for developing Eastern Europe after the break down of the "iron curtin" and managing 14 countries, with a special focus on the "new" Eastern European countries and maintaining the business profiles in the Middle East. In 1994, they moved to Abbott Laboratories Diagnostic Division in the same role. In 1996, they became President International Clinical Research at Omnicare. From 2000 to 2004, they held the positions of Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer and President and Chief Operating Officer at LMS International. In 2004, they took an independent director role at Metris, where they reviewed and advised on acquisitions, organizational structure, cash forecasting, performance plans, and evaluations. Finally, in 2017, they became a Business Partner at Cubigo.

Rudi Weekers attended KU Leuven from 1976 to 1980, where they earned a master's degree in economics.
