David Pawlowski

David Pawlowski has a strong background in biosafety and research. David founded Upstate Biosafety, LLC in 2018 and currently serves as the President of the company. Prior to that, they worked as a Biosafety Officer at the University at Buffalo starting in 2014. David also has experience as a Sr. Research Scientist at CUBRC from 2006 onwards. David previously worked as a Senior Scientist at SAIC (formerly Geo-Centers, Inc.) from 2003 to 2006.

David Pawlowski completed their education at various institutions. From 1980 to 1988, they attended St. Theodore's, and from 1989 to 1992, they studied at Gates-Chili HS. After completing high school, they pursued a degree in Biological Sciences with a focus on Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the State University of New York at Buffalo from 1992 to 2005. It is worth noting that they also hold a certification as a Registered Biosafety Professional from ABSA International, although the specific date of its acquisition is not provided.
