Dani Hurtado Torres, PhD, is a Narrative Designer and Writer with extensive experience in the video game industry, currently working at Cubus Games since November 2020, where projects include "Quijote: Quest for Glory." In addition to industry roles, Dani serves as a full-time faculty member at the Centre de la Imatge i la Tecnologia Multimèdia (UPC) and Escola Superior de Disseny ESDi, teaching courses on game design and UI/UX. Previous positions include narrative design roles at RolldBox Games and Jocs al segon, and academic positions at the Universitat de Lleida and Universitat de Barcelona, contributing to interactive digital techniques and educational content. Dani holds a PhD in Didactics from Universitat de Barcelona and several additional degrees in fields related to animation and education.

Cubus Games
Cubus Games is a creative studio (aka alchemy lab) based in Igualada/Barcelona. It is formed by a team of gamebook crafters and software developers (aka digital artisans). We create some sort of narrative video games for Entertainment and exciting adventures around Cultural Heritage & Tourism, Education, Social Impact… and beyond. We help museums, castles, foundations, schools, enterprises, etc. to engage with their public/students/customers through interactive experiences that contain immersive storytelling, gamification and technology (aka magical potions).
