Farrukh Abbas has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership and technical roles. Farrukh is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at CuddlyNest since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Platform Lead at CuddlyNest from January 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining CuddlyNest, Farrukh worked as a Lead Engineer and Solution Architect at Tamu from November 2019 to December 2020. Farrukh led the requirement analysis and project planning, utilizing agile methodology. Farrukh created a robust and scalable system for customers and stakeholders, developing the backend architecture using ExpressJS and MongoDB, and implementing the admin control panel in Angular.

Prior to Tamu, Farrukh served as a Lead Engineer at Gritwell from September 2018 to November 2019. Farrukh employed agile methodology to design a robust and scalable system architecture for the platform MVP. Farrukh collaborated closely with the team, developing RESTful APIs for the mobile team and an Angular-based practitioner portal.

Before Gritwell, Farrukh worked as the CTO at Omaido from November 2016 to September 2018. Farrukh spearheaded the development of a scalable system, utilizing agile development methodology. Farrukh developed backend APIs and admin interfaces for platform management.

Farrukh also served as the CTO at Shirts My Way from January 2012 to October 2016. Farrukh upgraded the legacy PHP-based application to a Symfony 2.3 web application, contributing to defining efficient and scalable business processes.

Furthermore, Farrukh co-founded Mobile Weaver in April 2005 and served as the Co-Founder & CTO until December 2012. Farrukh successfully raised funding and set up and maintained an offshore engineering base. Farrukh recruited, trained, and supervised the team to develop an enterprise-grade platform.

Farrukh Abbas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from De Montfort University between the years 2005 and 2007.
