Alberto Garcia

Alberto Garcia has extensive experience in the creative and design industry. Alberto is currently working as an Art Director at CUE since 2023. Prior to this, they were a Design Director at Canada Post / Postes Canada from 2018 to 2022. In this role, Alberto was responsible for managing and mentoring a team of creatives, overseeing the design process, and implementing creative strategies aligned with Canada Post's goals.

Before joining Canada Post, Alberto worked as a Creative Director at Suave Creative from 2015 to 2018. Alberto worked closely with clients in the Federal Government and private sector, translating their business objectives into creative strategies. Alberto also ensured consistent messaging and visual communication through stakeholder management.

From 2011 to 2015, Alberto served as a Design Director at VINCI Education, where they played a key role in building the brand and content for a new category of learning tools. Alberto collaborated with marketing and product development managers on branding and marketing communication projects.

Alberto's career started at BlackCherry Digital Media in 2004, where they co-founded the company and helped it grow into a successful media company. As a Design Director, they provided creative vision, art direction, and managed a team of designers, photographers, developers, manufacturers, and suppliers.

Additionally, Alberto has experience as a 3D Artist at Artificial Studios from 2002 to 2004.

Alberto Garcia has a diverse education history, starting with a Diploma in Graphic Design & Art Fundamentals from Niagara College, which they completed from 1998 to 2000. Alberto then pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Digital Media and Media Arts at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design from 2000 to 2002. In 2002, Alberto attended da Vinci College, where they obtained a Diploma in 3D Animation. Finally, in 2010, they attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, where they earned a Diploma in Project Management.
