Ana Dios Esponera has worked in various research positions since 2008. Ana started as a PhD Student at the Centro de Investigaciones Biologicas (CIB), Centro Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas (CSIC) in 2008. In 2014, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Biology, NCI, NIH. In 2019, they moved to Fred Hutch as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Dr. Bleakley's laboratory, which focuses on developing novel therapies for cancer-fighting power of immune T cells. Currently, they are a Scientist at Cue Biopharma since 2021.

Ana Dios Esponera obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Biology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2008. Ana then went on to pursue a PhD in Immunology at the same institution, which they completed in 2014. In addition, Ana has obtained two certifications: a 9-week Pedagogy course from the Office of Intramural and Training, NIH in 2016, and a Hands-On Animal Techniques course from the NIH Office of Animal Care & Use in 2015.
