Piya Poonsawat

Piya Poonsawat is a Senior Structural Engineer with extensive experience in the engineering field, currently employed at CUEL Ltd. in Thailand since April 2017. In this role, Piya Poonsawat has contributed to significant projects such as the BLADE project for EXXONMobil and Technip USA and the Formosa 1 phase 2 wind farm project, focusing on foundation design, lifting analysis, and temporary support design. Previously, Piya Poonsawat worked at Marine Engineering Services, Pte, from May 2010 to March 2017, where responsibilities included designing structures for the Culzean and Yamal LNG projects, as well as performing engineering analyses for various offshore developments. Earlier experience includes bridge and structural engineering at Team Consulting Engineering And Management Co., Ltd., where Piya Poonsawat contributed to major infrastructure projects in Thailand. Piya Poonsawat holds a Doctor of Engineering degree in Structural Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology, as well as a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in related fields from the same institution and Chulalongkorn University, respectively.
