Jennifer Thompson

Jennifer is a specialist in the development and commercialization of impact hardware technologies for start-ups serving large global markets. She has previously worked as VP Corporate Development and Board Secretary at Enwave Corporation, a TSX-Venture listed company, she was the Executive VP for Enterra Feed Corporation, and established the business development office for Westport Innovations in Europe.

In addition to her current role as Founder & CEO of Herstasis Health, she is currently the Executive Board Chair of CuePath Innovation, and was previously Director and Compensation Committee Chair of Acuva Technologies, and Director and COO of Cryologistics Refrigeration Technologies.

Jennifer has an angel portfolio of 7 BC-based clean technology and health companies and is the sole investor in Herstasis at this time. In the non-profit realm, Jennifer currently serves as an NSERC-I2I Grant Funding Review Committee member, and is a member of the UNICEF Canada Women UNlimited philanthropy program. She has previously served as an Executive-in-Residence at entrepreneurship@UBC, SFU’s Venture Connection and Foresight Cleantech Accelerator.
