Riley is a Partner at Cuesta who excels at helping private equity firms assess the technology posture of potential deal targets and execute technology initiatives throughout the deal lifecycle.

His sensitivity to the sequencing of technology investment, benefit realization, and enterprise value expansion helps ensure positive outcomes for both companies and their financial sponsors. Before Cuesta, Riley lead the private equity practice at Liberty Advisor Group. In this capacity, he and his team conducted IT diligence on 75+ transactions annually and provided post-close technology support for a broad range of PE portfolio companies across several industries. Prior to Liberty, he co-founded Aisle50, a venture-backed startup aiding grocery shoppers by integrating online payments with retail POS systems, a company that was acquired by Groupon. Riley also spent three years in Germany leading strategic projects on behalf of the SAP Board of Directors and later served as SAP’s Executive Director of line of business solutions.

Riley co-founded Cuesta because he’s passionate about helping executives and private equity firms use technology as a lever to grow enterprise value.
