Government & External Affairs Lead at Culdesac

Erin Boyd has worked in a variety of roles since 2003. Her first role was Partnership Manager at Mobile Metrix, where they conducted an impact evaluation on a community needs survey and supported partnership strategy with corporations. In 2005, they became Program Director at Fundación Escuela Nueva, where they co-directed the startup of the U.S. office and secured $1.5M in funding. From 2008-2017, Boyd worked at Ashoka as Senior Change Manager and Change Manager, where they built the Ashoka U program, a global university network for social innovation education, and developed a sustainable business model resulting in a $1.5M annual budget. From 2017-2019, Boyd worked as an Independent Consultant, where they facilitated, spoke, and trained, and attended a professional farm-to-table culinary program. In 2019, they joined ChangeX as Head of Partnerships, where they drove the business development efforts to establish and manage commercial partnerships. Currently, Boyd is Government & External Affairs Lead at Culdesac, where they lead government and external affairs initiatives, oversees public-private partnerships, community outreach, policy, and grants. Erin has introduced a minority-owned small business grant program, obtained $28K in external grants, and made connections resulting in a $75K low-interest loan.

Erin Boyd holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Stanford University, a Master of Arts in International Educational Administration and Policy Analysis from Stanford University, and a Diploma in Professional Culinary Arts from the International Culinary Center. Her Professional Culinary Arts Diploma was obtained in 2017-2018, and focused on Farm-to-Table.
