Gary Donnelly

Gary Donnelly has extensive work experience in the fields of technology and information systems. Their most recent position is the Group CIO at Culina Group Limited, which they started in April 2021. Before this, they were the owner of Mallei Ltd starting from August 2018. Donnelly also worked as the CIO at Unipart Logistics from March 2019 to April 2021.

Prior to that, they held the role of Chief Technology Officer at WHSmith from June 2017 to December 2018. Donnelly also served as the Vice President of IT EMEA at Avis Budget Group International from August 2016 to June 2017. ✋Gary had additional responsibilities within Avis Budget Group, where they were the VP of Information Technology EMEA from February 2016 to June 2017.

Donnelly's previous experiences include working as the Director of Applications Delivery - Consumer Services (Digital & Ecommerce) and Director of Application Development at Avis Budget Group EMEA. ✋Gary was also the Director of Group IT Programmes for the same company. Prior to their time at Avis Budget Group, Donnelly held the position of Head of Global Programme Delivery at Gazprom Marketing & Trading.

Earlier in their career, Donnelly worked as the Head of IT Retail at RWE npower and as a Programme Manager at RWE Systems UK. Throughout their various roles, their responsibilities have included overseeing IT delivery, managing digital strategies, leading IT change portfolios, and ensuring adherence to standards and governance processes.

Gary Donnelly completed a course in Information Technology Leadership at Cranfield School of Management in 2013. Prior to that, they attended St Josephs from 1984 to 1990. Additionally, they obtained a certification in MHFA Lite from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in November 2017.
