James H Manley Jr

James H. Manley Jr, Ph.D. (JJ) has extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as the Senior Associate Dean for Campus Life & Student Development at The Culinary Institute of America since June 2012. In this role, James oversees various aspects of student life, including clubs, athletics, and leadership development. Prior to this position, James held multiple roles at The Culinary Institute, including Associate Dean and Adjunct Professor. Additional experience includes ownership of JJ Manley Presents, focusing on staff development workshops, and leadership positions such as President of the National Board of Directors for the Alumni Association of The College of Saint Rose. James earned a PhD in Leadership in Higher Education from Capella University and holds degrees in Elementary Education and Educational Psychology from the College of Saint Rose.
