Maria Krupin is vice president of finance and administration at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA). Ms. Krupin is responsible for providing vision and leadership for all financial matters of the not-for-profit college and acting as its chief financial officer. She develops and implements strategies for managing finances at all four CIA campuses and oversees all higher educational compliance-related financial matters.
Ms. Krupin joined the CIA in 2015 after 23 years with Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ, the last 17 months as vice president for administration and finance. Prior to that, she served as the college’s associate vice president of budget and fiscal planning, acting controller, executive director of budget and fiscal planning, and both director and associate director of budget and fiscal affairs. During her tenure at Ramapo College, she was also an adjunct instructor for four years. Earlier in her career, she was a senior accountant at Fairleigh Dickenson University in Teaneck, NJ, and an accountant with a CPA firm in New Rochelle, NY.
Maria Krupin holds a Master of Science in management, with a concentration in finance, from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Pace University in Pleasantville, NY.
