Karen Anderson

Karen Anderson has an extensive work experience in Human Resources. Karen began their career in 2000 as a Human Resources Assistant at Putnam Investments, where they were later promoted to Human Resources Specialist and then Senior HR Representative. In 2010, they were promoted to Manager, Human Resources at Putnam Investments, where they were responsible for providing strategic HR direction and coaching to managers and employees in Defined Contribution and Marketing Communications divisions. In 2015, they moved to Empower Retirement as a Sr HR Business Partner, where they served as HR Business Partner to senior executives across two lines of business. In 2020, they became a Human Resources Contractor at EMD Serono, Inc., where they partnered with Global Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Head of Global Strategic Talent Solutions to support, develop, execute, track, and measure key initiatives and global projects related to promotion and retention of top talent. Currently, they are an Associate Director, HR Operations at Cullinan Oncology.

Karen Anderson attended Dover-Sherborn High School and then went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in French and Humanities from Providence College. In 2008, they obtained a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
