Natasha Uzelac

Senior Director & Head of Analytical Sciences at Cullinan Oncology

Natasha Uzelac has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Natasha began their career as an Analytical Chemist at the Public Health Institute, where they worked from 1998 to 2003. Natasha then joined ChemDesign as an Analytical Chemist for a year before moving on to ImmunoGen, Inc.

At ImmunoGen, Inc., Natasha held various roles from 2005 to 2019. Natasha started as a Quality Control Analyst and worked their way up to become a Supervisor in the Quality Control department. Their responsibilities included coordinating activities in the QC Chemistry laboratory, performing audits of CMO sites, and leading the establishment and improvement of analytical processes.

In 2013, Natasha became a Sr. Manager/Manager in QC Technical Support at ImmunoGen, Inc. Natasha played a key role in coordinating analytical method transfers, authoring CMC sections of regulatory filings, and optimizing and troubleshooting various assays.

From 2016 to 2019, Natasha served as the Director of Quality Control at ImmunoGen, Inc. In this role, they developed and executed strategic plans for the QC operation, led the strategic vision for external testing in an outsourced/virtual business model, and provided expertise in quality/CMC issues.

In 2019, Natasha joined Corvidia Therapeutics as the Director and Head of CMC Analytical Sciences. Their responsibilities included overseeing the analytical control strategies for clinical and commercial-bound biologics and combination products, driving product quality assessment, and developing product characterization strategies. Corvidia Therapeutics was later acquired by Novo Nordisk.

At Novo Nordisk, Natasha continued as the Director and Head of CMC Analytical Sciences from 2020 to 2021. Natasha was responsible for leading the analytical sciences team in AD/QC, overseeing CMC analytical control strategies, and ensuring product quality.

Currently, Natasha Uzelac is working at Cullinan Oncology, where they hold the position of Senior Director and Head of CMC Analytical Sciences. In their role, they lead the analytical sciences team and is responsible for driving analytical strategies related to CMC.

Natasha Uzelac holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering from the Faculty of Technology at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. Natasha is also a Ph.D. degree candidate in Applied Chemistry at the same institution, with their dissertation remaining. Natasha furthered their education by obtaining a Project Management Certificate from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2013. Natasha completed their academic journey by earning an M.S. in Engineering Management from Tufts University in 2017. As for additional certifications, Natasha obtained the Certified Pharmaceutical GMP Professional (CPGP) and Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2011.
