Barry Sandweiss

General Partner at Cultivation Capital

Barry is a General Partner at Cultivation Capital. In 2000, he co-founded Lenders One, the largest mortgage-banking cooperative in the United States, representing nearly 14% of the US residential originations market. Barry served as the company’s COO. Lenders One was acquired by Altisource Portfolio Solutions (ASPS) in 2010. Following the purchase, Barry served as SVP and on the Global Leadership team during which time the ASPS market capitalization grew to $5 + Billion via the spinouts of AAMC and RESI.

Barry has 20 + years experience in real estate and real estate finance, and he was a co-founder of Community Lenders of America, a U.S. Bank/Mortgage Advocacy Group. He also serves as a Director and lead mentor at the SixThirty FinTech Accelerator, and is on the Board of Directors at Gremln, a social media compliance company. Barry attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and resides in St. Louis, MO.
