Elise Miller Hoffman

Elise Miller Hoffman is a General Partner at Cultivation Capital. She invests in promising digital health and life sciences startups in the seed to Series B stage, with a focus on healthcare companies that are solving the pressing problems exposed during the COVID-19 pandemic with long-term solutions in remote care, hospital efficiency and pandemic response infrastructure. She serves as a Board Member at Healthy Bytes, Board Observer at ImageMoverMD, and former Board Observer at NarrativeDx before the company was acquired in 2020.

In addition to her work at Cultivation Capital, Elise is active in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, serving as a Steering Committee Member of the St. Louis Equity in Entrepreneurship Collective and an Advisory Council Member at Arch Grants. She can often be found on the campus of her alma mater, Washington University, where she serves as an Investor in Residence at the Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation and Entrepreneurship and a Director of the Holekamp Seed Fund. In the St. Louis community, Elise serves as a Board Member at Forward Through Ferguson and an Advisory Board Member for the Center for Civic Research and Innovation, an initiative of the St. Louis Community Foundation.

Elise holds a BA in Spanish Literature and Latin American Studies, and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. She has been recognized as a St. Louis Business Journal “30 under 30” awardee in 2018 and an Olin Business School Emerging Leader Award recipient in 2020.
