Grace Spillane Jacobs is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and curriculum development, particularly in gifted education. Since September 2017, Grace has served as an Adjunct Instructor at The New England Institute for Teacher Education, focusing on online coursework in Gifted and Talented Education. In addition, Grace has been the Academic Coordinator for Cultural Homestay International, supporting international students studying in the U.S. From August 2006 to June 2022, Grace worked as a Gifted Education Specialist at MSAD 35, where collaboration with teachers enhanced differentiation for gifted learners. Previous roles include Remote Elementary Teacher at GWS Remote Learning Academy, board member and secretary for the Maine Educators of the Gifted and Talented, and various teaching positions in middle level education. Grace holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of New England, a Master of Education from Keene State College, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
