Heather Rose Walker, PhD, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data analysis, qualitative research, and educational curriculum design. Currently serving as a Senior Data Journalist at Culture Amp, Heather crafts data-driven narratives that simplify complex research into accessible stories. Previous roles include oversight of a portfolio at Culture Amp as a Senior People Scientist, and leadership in qualitative research at University of Utah Health, where Heather drove employee wellness strategies and designed impactful surveys. A dedicated educator, Heather has also developed curricula related to diversity and inclusion, mentoring numerous undergraduate students. Furthermore, Heather's contributions to diabetes advocacy include founding Beta Connect and co-editing a book on the cultural representation of diabetes. Heather earned a Ph.D. in Disability Studies and holds degrees from the University of Illinois Chicago and the University of California, Berkeley.
