Lindsay A. Whitley

Lindsay A. Whitley, Ed.D. is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in communications and community engagement within various school districts. Currently serving as the Associate Superintendent for Communications and Community Engagement at Cumberland County Schools since September 2018, Lindsay Whitley has developed innovative communication strategies for nearly 50,000 students and 89 schools. Previously, as the Director of Guilford Parent Academy, Lindsay Whitley led significant growth and positioned the academy as a national model for educational resources for parents. Prior roles also include Director of Communications and Family Engagement for Montgomery County Schools, and Learning Coordinator for Wachovia Bank/Hewitt Associates. Lindsay A. Whitley holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from High Point University, along with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science/Communications Studies from other institutions.
