Jed Grubbs is a seasoned professional in watershed planning and restoration, currently serving as the Program Manager at Cumberland River Compact since July 2013. Previously, Jed contributed as a Program Assistant/GIS Specialist at the Rivanna River Basin Commission, where responsibilities included creating and analyzing watershed maps and health indicators. Early roles included a Practicum Student at New River Valley Planning District Commission, where Jed developed water resource maps, and a Research and Policy Assistant at Floyd County Community Development Office, focusing on GIS groundwater data. Additional experience includes writing and coordinating for Appalachian Voices and interning for Northwest Earth Institute. Jed holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor's degree in Religion from the University of Richmond.
