Stephen Heywood

Stephen Heywood is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in various roles within the technology sector. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Cumbria Police since May 2014, Stephen has held multiple positions within the organization, including ICT Operations Manager and ICT Technical Architect. Prior to this, Stephen worked as an IT Technical Consultant, focusing on Microsoft Technologies and server migrations. Stephen's earlier career includes significant contributions at Iggesund Paperboard, where responsibilities spanned from IT Infrastructure Engineer to IT Infrastructure Team Leader, managing teams and overseeing critical IT systems. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Staffordshire, obtained between 1987 and 1991.
