Elijah Kirkland started their work experience in 2009 as a College Intern Technical Sr at Lockheed Martin, where they worked as a System Engineer and performed software, integration, and regression testing. In 2010, they returned to Lockheed Martin as a College Intern Technical Specialist, working on the JAMES program, where they designed and verified training documentation/videos for users/soliders in the United Kingdom. Elijah collaborated closely with international counterparts in making decisions. In 2011, they worked as a College Intern Technical Specialist again at Lockheed Martin, this time as a Software Engineer, helping develop a virtual 3D world training course for the US. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at Lockheed Martin as a Systems Engineer. In 2019, they joined Cummings Aerospace as a Senior Systems Engineer. In 2008, they worked as a Software Development Intern at PGi, assisting with deployments and stored procedures using SQL.
Elijah Kirkland obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (BS) from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Computer System Security at Colorado Technical University, although the start and end years of this degree program are unknown.
