Nikhil Ponkshe has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Nikhil started their career as a Project Engineer at Whirlpool Corporation in 2009 and worked there until 2011. Nikhil then took on the role of a Summer Associate at Star TV in 2013. In the same year, they also worked as a Qualitative Research Study member at IMRB International. In 2014, they joined Deloitte as a Management Consultant before moving on to the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, where they pursued their education from 2012 to 2014. In 2015, they joined Cummins Inc. as the Executive Manager of Corporate Strategy and later became the Deputy General Manager until 2021. In 2021, they took on the role of General Manager at Cummins Inc. before transitioning to their current role as the Global Lead for Strategy, Market Intelligence, and Demand Planning at Cummins Generator Technologies in 2022.

Nikhil Ponkshe has a diverse education history. Nikhil obtained a PGDM degree with a focus on Marketing and Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, from 2005 to 2009. Before their undergraduate studies, Nikhil completed their HSC from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2003 to 2005. Nikhil began their education at Abhinava Vidyalaya Pune and obtained their SSC degree from there, spanning from 1993 to 2003. In addition to their academic degrees, Nikhil holds certifications in Marketing Essentials from the Harvard Business Review, Product Management from Whirlpool Corporation, and has passed Level 2 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam from the CFA Institute.
