Shirley Echeverria

Shirley Echeverria has extensive experience at Cummins Inc. since June 2011, currently serving as CSAR-Diesel Global Platform Leader. Echeverria has held various leadership positions, including Sr. Engineering Manager for Dynamic Systems and Controls, and has successfully developed design, verification, and validation plans for advanced projects like the X15 Hybrid. With a strong focus on resource optimization and program support, Echeverria has effectively managed system validations and customer engineering controls for off-highway platforms. Prior roles at USF involved instructing in controls labs and tutoring students in engineering subjects. Echeverria holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Corporate Strategy from Indiana University, along with multiple degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Technology Management from the University of South Florida and Universidad del Norte.
