Ian Cansfield

Ian Cansfield is a seasoned professional in planning and environmental impact assessment with over 25 years of experience in the field. Currently serving as the Director of Planning and Environmental Impact Assessment at Cundall since November 2007, Cansfield oversees the delivery of planning and EIA consultancy services globally. Previously, Cansfield held the position of Planning and Housing Futures Manager at South Tyneside Council, managing various strategic functions. Cansfield's career also includes roles at Castle Morpeth Borough Council, Durham County Council, Sunderland City Council, and Tyne and Wear Development Corporation. Cansfield holds a BA Hons and MTP in Town Planning from Newcastle University.
