Monica Krista de Vera

Monica Krista de Vera serves as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the President at CUPE Ontario since November 2021. Additionally, Monica is a Founding Advisor and Organizer at Progress Toronto, a position held since March 2018. Prior experience includes serving as Special Assistant to the City Councillor for Ward 14: Toronto-Danforth from July 2020 to November 2021, and roles at the Toronto Environmental Alliance as a Community Outreach Coordinator in various intervals from 2015 to 2017. Academic credentials include a Master of Environmental Studies in Planning from York University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Environmental Studies and Philosophy from the University of Toronto. Currently, Monica is also pursuing studies at Goethe University Frankfurt.
