Chinyere Perpetua

Chinyere Perpetua has a breadth of experience in the finance and accounting field that spans over 13 years. Chinyere most recently served as a Finance Manager at Curacel (YC W22) starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Financial Services Manager at Oge9 Solutions from January 2020 to November 2021, where they were responsible for achieving the firm's financial objectives through budget preparation, expenditure analysis, and corrective actions.

Before their role at Oge9 Solutions, Chinyere held the position of CFO & Due Diligence Lead at Cedar Advisory Partners Limited from May 2018 to December 2019. In this role, they prepared bi-annual and annual financial reports in compliance with IFRS standards for regulatory purposes and management use.

Chinyere also gained experience at Glassfa Prima Hotel as a Chief Accountant & General Supervisor from January 2016 to January 2018. During their time there, they prepared monthly and annual financial reports in accordance with IFRS standards.

Prior to their work at Glassfa Prima Hotel, Chinyere held positions at Charles Ugwu & Co Chartered Accountant, where they worked as an Audit Manager from April 2014 to January 2016 and as an Assistant Audit Manager from August 2013 to May 2014. In these roles, Chinyere conducted independent audit exercises on clients/companies from various sectors.

Their professional journey began at the Ikom Local Government Council in July 2012, where they served as an Audit Clerk until June 2013. Chinyere then gained experience as a Bulk Teller at Access Bank Plc from January 2009 to December 2009, where they were responsible for handling cash transactions.

Chinyere also worked as an Audit Intern at Godwin Umusu & Co Chartered Accountant from August 2008 to January 2009, further solidifying their foundation in the field of accounting.

Chinyere Perpetua attended The Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained an Upper Credit degree in Accounting.
