Seyi Afolabi

Seyi Afolabi has a diverse work experience across various industries. In 2014, they worked as an intern (Quality Control Analyst) at Addax Petroleum Development (Nigeria) Limited, where they were involved in database management, production monitoring, and laboratory analysis. From 2013 to 2015, Seyi worked as a Business Development Associate at Jumia Nigeria, where they conducted market research, promoted company awareness, and managed client accounts. At Custom Mall Limited from 2017 to 2019, Seyi served as Lead, Retail and Quality Assurance, ensuring customer satisfaction and developing effective work strategies. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Customer Success Advisor at Zenith Bank Plc, resolving customer challenges, compiling reports, and expanding customer accounts. Seyi also worked as a Retail Consultant at ULTIMUS Holdings from 2021 to 2022, providing product information and addressing client inquiries. Currently, Seyi is a Product Manager at Curacel (YC W22), where they collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve user experience, manages the product backlog, and utilizes project management tools for task management.

Seyi Afolabi's education history includes several notable achievements and qualifications. In 2011, Seyi enrolled at Caleb University in Lagos, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Industrial Biotechnology. Seyi successfully completed this program in 2015.

In 2016 to 2017, Seyi attended Alliance Francaise in Enugu, where they obtained a DELF certification in French language studies.

In 2019, Seyi participated in a short course at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University.

More recently, in 2021, Seyi completed a Product Management Certificate program at ProductDive. Seyi also holds a Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) certification from Falck Prime Atlantic, which is OPITO Certified, earned in 2014.
